Literature-compiled databases for bio-based insulation materials: thermal conductivity, sound absorption, and carbon footprint (266 studies)

Description

This upload contains three curated datasets compiled from a systematic review of the peer-reviewed literature on plant-based/bio-based insulation materials: (i) a thermal conductivity database (λ vs. density and test temperature; 96 studies), (ii) a sound absorption database (Noise Reduction Coefficient, NRC, vs. density and thickness; 86 studies), and (iii) a carbon footprint database (CF in kg CO₂-eq/kg, predominantly cradle-to-gate/site; 84 studies). Each dataset includes material-class labels and full source reference metadata (with values extracted from text/tables or digitized from figures where necessary). The datasets support the probabilistic/Bayesian screening-level models and comparative analyses reported in the associated manuscript.
