Description
Nepotism in business refers to the practice of favoring relatives or close associates in hiring, promotions, or leadership roles, regardless of qualifications. While often criticized for promoting unfairness and reducing efficiency, nepotism may offer some advantages in specific contexts such as family-owned enterprises. This paper explores both the negative and positive aspects of nepotism, using real-world examples to analyze its impact on businesses. Additionally, the research examines the nature of leadership and whether effective leadership is an inborn trait or a skill that can be developed. The findings suggest that while certain leadership traits may be innate, effective leadership is largely shaped through experience, learning, and training.
