Launching the Curriculum Hub: Lessons for Librarians in Open Science

We are proud to release version 1.0.0 of the "Lessons for Librarians in Open Science Principles and Methods" project. This release marks the completion of our IMLS-funded grant and the launch of our new curriculum hub.

Abstract

This archive contains the source code and curriculum materials for a comprehensive, open-source training program designed to empower librarians with skills in Open Science principles, data management, reproducibility, and community building. Developed by 15 teams of librarian-authors and supported by the UCLA Library Data Science Center.

Key Features of this Release:

•   **15 Open Science Lessons:** Covering topics from "Intro to Containers" to "Open Qualitative Research".
• **Centralized Portal:** A fully migrated Astro v5 static site serving as the curriculum hub.
• **Standardized Metadata:** Individual `CITATION.cff` files for all lesson repositories.
• **Team Directory:** Dynamic profiles for authors and committee members with ORCID integration.
