FAMILY VALUES AS CULTURAL MARKERS IN ASQAD MUKHTOR'S AND JANE AUSTEN'S WORKS
Authors/Creators
Description
Family values operate as significant cultural indicators in literary discourse, reflecting the ethical principles and social frameworks of particular societies. This paper investigates the portrayal of family values in Uzbek and English literature through a comparative analysis of selected works by Asqad Mukhtor and Jane Austen. Despite the authors’ differing historical, cultural, and ideological contexts, both present the family as a fundamental institution shaping personal identity, moral consciousness, and social behavior.
