Description

Various improvements that add up.

Highlighs:

  • The nested primal-dual active-set method now converges faster. Typically after the initial warm-up phase, in only one iteration.

  • Inversion with alpha=2 and alpha=3 Matern covariance matrices now possible (previously only alpha-1 implemented).

  • Optionally the PARDISO solver can now be used in refactorization mode, in which case the symbolic part of the analysis phase is computed once per mesh. Changes in the dynamical boundary conditions (eg active-set) require no new analysis. While the PARDISO solver is slower than the MATLAB inbuild solver when computing all phases, the ability to reuse the analyses phase can result in significant reduction in CPU time.
