Mohamad Mostafa delivered a webinar titled “Open Science and Persistent Identifiers: Empowering Researchers to Enhance the Visibility and Discoverability of Their Research Outputs”, hosted on 23 December 2025 by the Learning & Teaching Technology Center at Al-Balqa Applied University, Jordan.
The session highlighted the role of Open Science and persistent identifiers in strengthening research visibility, discoverability, and impact. Mohamad introduced the UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science and discussed how identifiers such as DOIs, ORCID iDs, and ROR IDs support researchers and institutions in making research outputs openly accessible, interoperable, and connected to global research ecosystems.
