Description
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has emerged as a critical driver of inclusive development in India, particularly in rural areas where poverty, unemployment, and lack of infrastructure persist. This paper explores the social impact of CSR on rural development, focusing on initiatives in education, healthcare, livelihood generation, women empowerment, and infrastructure creation. Based on secondary data sources and indicative survey analysis, the study highlights how CSR contributes to improving living standards, generating employment opportunities, and fostering sustainable rural growth. The findings suggest that while CSR has created significant positive social outcomes, challenges remain in terms of regional disparities, monitoring, and long-term sustainability.
