DIGITAL STUDY COMPANION IN MASTERING ACADEMIC TASKS WITH TECHNOLOGY

Description

The rapid advancement of digital technologies has fundamentally transformed contemporary educational practices, creating new demands for effective academic task management and self-directed learning. This article examines the concept of the digital study companion as an integral component of modern digital learning environments. It explores how integrated digital tools, learning platforms, and artificial intelligence support students in organizing academic tasks, improving learning efficiency, and developing self-regulated learning skills. Drawing on theoretical frameworks from educational psychology and cognitive science, the study analyzes the structure, key functions, benefits, and challenges associated with digital study companions. Particular attention is given to personalization, time management, memory enhancement through evidence-based strategies, and learner autonomy. The findings suggest that digital study companions significantly contribute to improved academic performance, motivation, and independent learning. The article concludes that, despite challenges related to digital distraction, accessibility, and data privacy, digital study companions play a crucial role in enabling students to master academic tasks within technology-driven and hybrid educational contexts.
