Philopterus (Goniodes) ortygis Denny, 1842: 56, 158.

Goniodes ortygis (Denny, 1842); Harrison 1916: 78.

Goniodes dispar minor Piaget, 1880: 248 (nec Goniocotes minor Piaget, 1880: 241).

Type host: Colinus virginianus (Linnaeus, 1758) —northern bobwhite.
