This article analyzes the role of moral education competencies in global education systems. It highlights the priority of a competency-based approach in the modern educational process and the relevance of developing moral competencies in students, such as ethical values, social responsibility, tolerance, and empathy. The article examines the place of moral education competencies in global education standards based on concepts promoted by international educational organizations such as UNESCO, OECD, and the International Baccalaureate (IB). Additionally, international experiences are analyzed through examples such as the “heart education” program in Japan, the “education for well-being” model in Finland, and “character education” programs in the United States.
