The present book is based on research papers and talks delivered by the eminent
professors, academicians, scholars and researchers during the national webinar on ‘VIKSIT
BHARAT: VISION 2047. As the Editor of this book, I have had the privilege of reviewing a
diverse aspect of insightful papers on various sub-themes related to India’s progress and
transformation. The Viksit Bharat: Vision 2047 reflects India’s ambitious vision to become a
developed nation by 2047, the 100th year of its independence. India is at an important moment in
its history. The 21st century will be India’s time to shine, as the country moves confidently into
the future. Today, India is fast growing and emerging nation of the world, and the name and
identity of India are reaching new heights on the global stage and its reputation is established
worldwide. The nation’s emerging and growing strength is creating new possibilities in every
field. Everything is possible for India today. There is no doubt that India will become a
developed nation by 2047.
