Strategi Pengembangan SDM Di PT Freeport: Antara Kebutuhan Industri dan Kesejahteraan Karyawan

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi
pengembangan sumber daya manusia (SDM) di PT Freeport
Indonesia (PTFI) yang menyeimbangkan kebutuhan industri
pertambangan dengan kesejahteraan karyawan, khususnya Orang
Asli Papua (OAP). Kajian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif
melalui studi literatur dan analisis data sekunder dari laporan
perusahaan, jurnal, dan artikel terkait program CSR PTFI. Hasil
menunjukkan PTFI telah melatih lebih dari 300 pemuda Papua
sejak 2017 melalui Institut Pertambangan Nemangkawi (IPN) dan
program Papuan Sustainable Human Capital Development (PSHCD),
dengan pengurangan insiden keselamatan 40% serta turnover
sukarela 2,2%. Strategi meliputi pelatihan teknis tiga pilar,
pengembangan kepemimpinan, dan kesejahteraan OAP melalui
kompensasi kompetitif serta inklusi budaya. Temuan ini
membuktikan sinergi antara tuntutan operasi underground mining
dan pemberdayaan lokal memperkuat lisensi sosial PTFI di Papua.
