The Invariant Tension Postulate: A Resolution to the Unified Field Problem
Description
Modern physics remains bifurcated between the geometric continuity of General Relativity and the discrete formalism of Quantum Field Theory. This divergence is most pronounced in the "Vacuum Catastrophe," where the calculated energy density of the vacuum exceeds observational limits by 10^{120}. This paper proposes that the reconciliation is found in the physical recognition of the Planck Force (F_P) as a constant, universal field tension. By defining the vacuum as a high-tension medium, the fundamental forces emerge as derived mechanical properties of a singular invariant identity. By establishing F_P = c^4/G as the foundational physical invariant, the "constants" of G and c are revealed as secondary mechanical properties of a singular high-tension field, providing the physical "floor" required to reconcile General Relativity with Quantum Field Theory.
