Abstract (English)

Spondylolisthesis in children, particularly in adolescents, often results from a defect in the pars interarticularis of the lumbar vertebra. It most commonly involves the isthmic type with vertebral slippage which may lead to pain and functional limitations The most important aspect of treatment is conservative management, which includes immobilization, physical therapy, and kinesitherapy. Special emphasis is placed on individualized core stabilization programs. Rehabilitation is conducted in phases – acute, subacute, and chronic – with the goal of reducing symptoms, strengthening muscular support, improving proprioception and preventing progression. A multidisciplinary approach and parental education are essential for successful outcomes.
