Description
CRF case evaluates increasing recycled polycarbonate (rPC) content in a 4WD command frame used in the automotive sector. Two C2G scenarios (30% and 50% rPC) were compared to a conventional ABS/PC blend. LCA results show that using 50% recycled plastic reduces CO₂ emissions by 21.7%, with materials being the dominant contributor. LCC analysis demonstrates a 20.8% cost reduction, proving recycled plastics offer both environmental and economic benefits.
