It promises transformative impacts in a variety of sectors, including education, healthcare, entertainment, real estate, and long-distance work. This article examines the fundamental technologies behind metaverse, their potential socioeconomic implications, privacy, data security, digital identity and interoperability challenges. Metaverse can still interact with digital systems and cooperation during the development stage, but it shows the next important development in the use of the Internet.
