Web Semântica e Web Pragmática: origens e divergências conceituais

Resumo: A Web Semântica surgiu da concepção de semântica da Linguística, no entanto, existem diversas conceituações e abordagens para ela; e as divergências conceituais, assim como algumas críticas à sua limitação, suscitam novas formas de observar essa abordagem de representação e recuperação para a Web e, como consequência, dão origem a novas concepções, como a Web Pragmática. Este trabalho traz uma breve apresentação das origens, da evolução e das diferenças entre as abordagens semânticas, conforme trabalhado na área da Linguística, qual delas foi adotada como base teórico-conceitual da Web Semântica e como as divergências conceituais e as críticas à (de)limitação deram origem à proposta da Web Pragmática.

 

Abstract (En)

Abstract: The Semantic Web arises from Linguistics' conception of semantics, however there are several conceptualizations and approaches to it, and the conceptual differences, as well as some criticisms of its limitation, raise new ways of observing this representation and retrieval approach for the Web and, as a result, they even give rise to new conceptions, such as the Pragmatic Web. This work presents a brief presentation of the origins, evolution and differences of semantic approaches, as worked in the field of linguistics, which of them was adopted as the theoretical-conceptual basis of the Semantic Web, and how the conceptual divergences and criticisms to (de)limitation gave rise to the proposal of the Pragmatic Web.
