Description
This dataset contains monthly accumulated precipitation simulated with the ICON atmospheric model (version 2.6.4) over the EURO-CORDEX domain. The simulations were performed at regional scale following the EURO-CORDEX domain specifications. Three simulations are conducted from June 2002 to May 2011, each employing a different SST product as lower boundary condition over the ocean.
Precipitation totals are provided as monthly accumulations derived from the native model output.
This dataset is intended for use in regional climate analysis, model validation, and impact studies, including hydrological and ocean-land-atmosphere interaction research. Users are advised to consider the characteristics and limitations of regional climate model simulations when interpreting the data.
