Railway Tourism and Territorial Development

This Digital Book is the result of a Colloquium dedicated to the theme of Railway Heritage, which aimed to promote discussion about railway heritage within the context of tourism enhancement. This Digital Book intended to contribute to the discussion about the knowledge of a type of heritage – railway heritage – existing in contexts that go unnoticed by those who use rail mobility (trains), because they are not identified and interpreted in terms of information and cultural and touristic value. The contribution of several national and international professionals and researchers, whose interest or research area encompasses railway tourism in a dynamic of territorial development, was fundamental for the exchange of knowledge, experiences and ideas, reinforcing the ties that advance the research.
