Year 2 report on component development, integration, testing and validation (D1.2-SP2)

The aim of this deliverable is on one hand to report the update status of the prototyping of different components/modules of the overall TIMING architecture, as a follow-up with respect the previous deliverable D1.1 of SP2. On the other hand, and most importantly, this deliverable reports the work carried out to integrate the different components, both at the data and the control plane. With regard to the control plane components, the integration and the corresponding validation tests between the Connectivity Manager and the Digital Twin, the Connectivity Manager and the TSN Controller, the TSN Controller and the WiFi Access Point (AP), the TSN Controller and the CNC of the TSN Ethernet switches is reported in detail. With regards to the data plane components, the integration and corresponding validation tests between the WiFi AP and the TSN Ethernet switch for synchronization purposes, the WiFi AP and the scheduler, the WiFi AP and the AGVs is reported in detail. 

All in all, the work reported in this deliverable shows that the integration among the different components has been successfully achieved as a fundamental milestone towards the validation of the entire TIMING architecture in support of the defined use cases that is being carried out in the framework of the SP3.
