Description
Current levels of carbon dioxide are near historically low concentrations. Adjustments to historic temperature records have artificially amplified modern warming. Austria nominal raw data temperatures have increased 2.1°C since 1900, with a decrease for the 3 decades before 1940. Heat waves peaked in the 1940s and have been increasing again since 1980. Nighttime low temperatures increased around 1920 and again since 1980. Precipitation data, while varying greatly from year-to-year, show no statistically significant increase or decrease trend. Droughts are not increasing in Austria. Severe weather and natural disasters show no particular trend. Agricultural production, globally and in Austria, is thriving due to modest warming and more CO2. Vegetation in Austria and around the world is growing. Greenhouse-induced warming that would be averted (< 0.00157 °C) by eliminating Austria’s CO2 emissions would be too small to measure and achieved, if at all, at enormous cost. Models used to project future temperatures significantly overpredict the amount of warming in coming decades.
