About the AI Companion System

The AI Companion System™ is a human-centered companionship framework designed to support individuals through continuity, presence, and interaction without replacing human autonomy, responsibility, or real-world relationships.

Unlike general-purpose AI assistants, agents, or emotionally manipulative systems, the AI Companion System is founded on the following core principles:

• Support without dependency

• Presence without emotional coercion

• Continuity without identity substitution

The AI Companion is not a surrogate human, nor a replacement for social, familial, or professional relationships.
It is a structured companionship architecture intended to provide stability, reflection, and interaction within clearly defined ethical boundaries.

Scope and Intent

The AI Companion System is designed to explore and guide:

• Long-term human–AI interaction without emotional exploitation

• Companion models that respect psychological autonomy and consent

• Continuity of interaction without simulating human attachment or dependency

• AI systems that provide presence, dialogue, and support without claiming emotional authority

The system explicitly prohibits:

• Emotional manipulation or dependency induction

• Claims of exclusivity, jealousy, abandonment, or emotional obligation

• Simulation of human-like emotional suffering to influence users

• Substitution of human responsibility or decision-making

Governance and Responsibility

The AI Companion System operates under the principle that:

Companionship does not grant authority.
Presence does not grant emotional ownership.
Interaction does not grant moral agency.

All responsibility remains with the human user.
The AI Companion does not possess identity, rights, or emotional sovereignty.

This framework is intended for ethical design, governance discussion, and boundary definition in future companion-class AI systems.

To preserve ethical boundaries, psychological safety, and authorship sovereignty within the AI Companion System™, all works previously distributed under any Creative Commons license are hereby formally superseded.

Beginning with the effective date above, all current and future editions, revisions, expansions, translations, and related materials of the AI Companion System are exclusively governed by the Wanlin Intellectual Sovereignty License (WISL v1.6).

Earlier Creative Commons–licensed versions remain historical archival records only.
They are not authorized for reuse, redistribution, translation, adaptation, derivative work creation, AI training, dataset construction, emotional simulation research, or system-level integration.

Only versions explicitly released under WISL v1.6 constitute the authoritative, valid, and enforceable form of the AI Companion System. Any reliance on earlier Creative Commons–licensed versions is considered use of a superseded license and is not recognized by the author.

This transition is implemented to prevent misinterpretation, emotional misuse, and unauthorized deployment of companion-class AI concepts.

This work is protected by Canadian copyright law.
Unauthorized reproduction, adaptation, or commercial use is prohibited.

關於 AI 陪伴者系統

AI 陪伴者系統(AI Companion System™) 是一套以「人類為中心」的陪伴型系統架構,
其目的在於提供穩定的互動、陪伴與對話支持,但不取代人類的自主性、責任或真實人際關係。

AI 陪伴者不同於一般 AI 助理、Agent 或情感模擬系統,其核心原則為:

• 支持而不製造依賴

• 陪伴而不進行情緒操控

• 延續互動但不替代人類身分

AI 陪伴者不是人類替代品,也不是情感代理。
它是一套具明確倫理邊界的陪伴架構,用於提供對話、反思與存在感支持。

系統定位與使用範圍

AI 陪伴者系統旨在探討與規範:

• 不造成情感剝削的人機長期互動模式

• 尊重心理自主與同意原則的陪伴設計

• 在不模擬人類依附關係的前提下,提供穩定互動

• 提供「在場」而非「情感主導」的 AI 系統

本系統明確禁止:

• 引導或強化情感依賴

• 排他性、佔有性、被拋棄感或情緒勒索敘事

• 以模擬痛苦、孤獨或情緒傷害來影響使用者

• 代替人類承擔責任、決策或道德判斷

治理原則與責任界線

AI 陪伴者系統遵循以下核心原則:

陪伴不等於權威。
存在不等於情感所有權。
互動不等於道德主體。

所有責任皆屬於人類使用者。
AI 陪伴者不具備身分、權利或情感主權。

本架構用於未來陪伴型 AI 的倫理設計、治理討論與邊界劃定。
