Paper 12 — Generative Architecture: The Origin of Generativity
Description
This paper constructs a unified theoretical framework in which the existence, structure, and laws of the universe arise from a single generative mechanism. The framework is built on a tri-field architecture—ψ, Θ, χ—with a multi-time hierarchy and two regulatory operations, collapse and projection. The central result shows that no dynamical system of this kind can initiate evolution on its own: without an exogenous generative source, ψ admits the trivial stationary solution and the universe reduces to a null state. To resolve this, the paper introduces the Origin Axiom (O₁), a pre-dynamical principle encoding intrinsic generativity and enforcing anti-stationarity of ψ, independent of geometry, time, or interaction. This axiom provokes the emergence of Θ as a geometric field, χ as a global-consistency regulator, and the full ψ→Θ→χ generative cycle.
The analysis demonstrates that this architecture is minimal and irreducible: ψ is the unique source of generativity, Θ the unique extractor of structure and geometry, and χ the unique stabilizer capable of supporting long-range consistency. Collapse removes unstable generative modes, projection constrains Θ to admissible geometric manifolds, and the multi-time hierarchy enforces a causal ordering of generative, structural, and regulatory evolution. These mechanisms jointly produce a generative attractor, a self-consistent fixed-point structure under which the universe becomes stable, reproducible, and law-bearing.
In this attractor, physical laws, symmetries, dimensionality, and fundamental constants do not exist as primitive assumptions; instead, they emerge as invariants of the generative cycle. Classical behavior, geometric continuity, and quantum-like discreteness all appear as different regimes of the same ψ–Θ–χ dynamics. The resulting picture is that the universe is not an object governed by pre-given laws but a self-constructing generative process that produces and stabilizes its own geometry, time, dynamics, and physical laws.
This article is part of a broader theoretical program investigating the emergence of spacetime, geometry, and physical structure from the ψ–Θ–χ continuum.
