Figure-Generation Code for "Intrinsic Josephson Dynamics in Bi-2212 as a Testbed for Information-Gauge Fields" (Figures 1–11)
Description
This archive contains the complete figure-generation code used to produce Figures 1–11 in the manuscript
“Intrinsic Josephson Dynamics in Bi-2212 as a Phenomenological
Testbed for Information-Gauge Fields:
Constraints on Λµ, Entropy Production, and Odd-in-B Asymmetry” (J. H. Lee, 2025).
The code in this package reproduces all main figures of the paper, including:
-
Figure 1: Schematic of Bi-2212 as an intrinsic Josephson junction (IJJ) stack and its IG–RUEQFT interpretation.
-
Figure 2: Coupled sine–Gordon model for an N-junction stack and representative multi-branch I–V characteristics.
-
Figure 3: Annular Bi-2212 junction geometry, information Wilson loop interpretation, and resonance-step illustration.
-
Figure 4: Back-bending of I–V curves under long vs short current pulses, and its connection to entropy production.
-
Figure 5: Flux-flow branch and Fiske-like steps used to extract the Swihart velocity and information-mode spectrum.
-
Figure 6: Vortex-lattice regimes, 3D–to–quasi-2D dimensional reduction, and schematic B–I phase diagram.
-
Figure 7: ZFC/FC hysteresis in I–V curves and its information-memory interpretation.
-
Figure 8: Field-inversion asymmetry I(V,+B)≠−I(V,−B)I(V,+B)\neq -I(V,-B)I(V,+B)=−I(V,−B) and constraints on CP-odd information couplings.
-
Figure 9: Random Telegraph Signals (RTS), dwell-time statistics, and the double-well information-potential picture.
-
Figure 10: Summary of empirical constraints on information-gauge parameters (τinfo\tau_{\rm info}τinfo, δ1\delta_1δ1, χ\chiχ, goddg_{\rm odd}godd, U/kBTU/k_BTU/kBT).
-
Figure 11: Conceptual outlook figure situating Bi-2212 IJJs as a testbed for information-gauge-inspired physics.
Where applicable, the scripts generate schematic diagrams and re-plot digitized data derived from the original Bi-2212 experiments reported in:
-
J. Lee, Magnetic Field Effect of Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+δ High Temperature Superconductor Intrinsic Josephson Junctions, Ph.D. thesis (2000).
-
Associated presentation slides (Lee, 2000).
The archive is intended to support full reproducibility of the figures and to provide a transparent reference implementation for researchers who wish to:
-
Recreate or modify the original figures for independent analysis or pedagogical use.
-
Adapt the plotting and schematic templates to related studies of intrinsic Josephson junctions and vortex dynamics.
-
Extend the IG–RUEQFT–inspired phenomenological analysis to other superconducting or strongly correlated platforms.
