Material. SOLOMON ISLANDS: 1 ♂, 1 ♀: Guadalcanal, Popamanasiu. Alt. 4400 ft., mossy ridge litter. 01- 04.11.1965. P.N. Lawrence leg. <‘ Associated Adult / Larvae Coll. Tube 15’> (BMNH).
Remarks. Paraphloeostiba rhopalocera is known from Indonesia (Sumatra) and Papua New Guinea. It is here recorded rom Solomon Islands for the first time.
