(BMNH); 1 ♀: San Cristoval, confluence of Warahito and Pagato rivers. Rotten wood and forest litter. 07.1965. P.N. Lawrence leg. (BMNH); 1 ♂: San Cristoval, 7 mls. S Wainoni. At light. 24.07.65. P.N. Lawrence leg. (BMNH); 1 ♂: same data, ca 7 mls. S Wainoni. Arborial litter. 30.07- 02.08.1965. I. & P.N. Lawrence leg. <‘ Associated Adult / Larvae Coll. Tube 5’> (BMNH); 1 ♀: Popamanasiu. Alt. 5700`ft., forest litter 08- 09.11.1965. P.N. Lawrence leg. <‘ Associated Adult / Larvae Coll. Tube 42’> (BMNH); 1 ♂: Umasani River, 6 mls. SW Tamboko. On Areca macrocalyx. 07- 10.07.1965. P.N. Remarks. Paraphloeostiba brevicula was recently described from the eastern part of Papua New Guinea (Shavrin 2024b). It is here recorded from Solomon Islands for the first time.
