Alcis extinctaria (Eversmann, 1851)

Boarmia (Alcis) extinctaria poktussaria Wehrli, 1943: 505, pl. 44: b. Syntype (s), North Korea: Poktussan, 2500 m (ZFMK). Boarmia (Alcis) extinctaria sinextincta Wehrli, 1943: 505. Syntype (s), China: Szechuan (Sichuan), Sung-pan-ting (ZFMK). Boarmia exustaria Staudinger, 1892: 378, pl. 3, fig. 9. Syntypes 20 ♂ ♀, Mongolia: Kentei.

Material examined. Xizang (XAAHU): 1♂, Nyingchi, Mêdog 80k, 2118 m, 9.vii.2018, leg. Pan Zhaohui; 1♂, Nyingchi, Sejila mountain, 3780 m, 18.vii.2020, leg. Xian Chunlan.
Diagnosis. As stated in the former species, A. extinctaria is close to A. sinadmissa on external features, but they can be differentiated by the male genitalia. In A. extinctaria, the processes of the ampulla are much shorter, and the basal part of the juxta is completely divided, and the two processes are considerably apart.
Distribution. China (Inner Mongolia, Shaanxi, Shandong, Shanxi, Ningxia, Gansu, Qinghai, Xinjiang, Sichuan, Xizang), Russia, Mongolia, Japan, Korean Peninsula.
