The Inevitable Transition: Dissolving Teleonomy through Population Dynamics
Description
The problem of the origin of life revolves around the emergence of teleonomic systems capable of
replication and evolution. This article proposes a purely kinetic framework for the pre-biological transition
from incipient molecular replication to evolutionary systems. We argue that evolutionary principles emerge
from molecular population dynamics, where teleonomy is revealed as a retrospective illusion of kinetic
efficacy. This framework inverts conventional presuppositions, demonstrating that information and
compartmentalization are emergent consequences, not starting points
