Revision of subtribe Eurynotina (Coleoptera: Tenebrionidae: Blaptinae). This monograph is the most comprehensive taxonomic treatment and first revision of the entire darkling beetle subtribe Eurynotina (Coleoptera: Tenebriondae). The classification adopted here is based on recent phylogenetic contributions to the subtribe. As such, the taxonomic part of this monograph is subdivided into five sections representing distinct phylogenetic lineages based on morphological and molecular data within Eurynotina, i.e. Eurynotus (monogeneric), Phylacastus (monogeneric), Schyzoschelus (Heteropsectropus Kaszab, Muelleropsectropus Lumen & Kamiński, Schyzoschelus Koch), Psectrapus (Byrrhoncus Koch, Capidium Koch, Colophonexsula Lumen & Kamiński, Isoncophallus Koch, Psectrapus Solier), and Oncotus (Anamenederes Koch, Hirtograbies Koch, Menederes Solier stat. nov., Ograbies Péringuey, Oncotus Solier, Phaleriderma Koch, Quadroncotus Koch, and Stridigula Koch) lineages. Sections detail the taxonomic history for each genus and species, and further include morphological and geographical distribution data, along with label information for the material examined. Specifically, each lineage section includes an illustrated key to the genera, while the particular genus sections include keys to all species. New synonomies are proposed for Capidum (Blaps bipunctata Thunberg (=Blaps striatula Thunberg syn. nov.)), Hirtograbies (H. longipilis Koch (=H. brevicornis Koch syn. nov., =H. namibensis Koch syn. nov.), and Menederes (=Menoncotus Koch syn. nov., =Menederopsis Koch syn. nov.). New combinations are as follows: Menederes chaetotaxicus (Koch) comb. nov., Menederes constrictus (Koch) comb. nov., Menederes jokli (Koch) comb. nov., Colophonexsula enisa (Koch) comb. nov., Colophonexsula nitens (Koch) comb. nov. The following new species are described: Isoncophallus crispiformus sp. nov., Isoncophallus ovanullum sp. nov., Phaleriderma iwani sp. nov., Psectrapus distaticum sp. nov., Psectrapus latimentulum sp. nov., and Schyzoschelus aetheculus sp. nov. Neotypes are designated for Menederes rufilabris Solier, Ograbies singularis Péringuey, Ograbies testaceus (Solier), and Schyzoschelus validus (Fairmaire) to formally fix their taxonomic and species concepts. Finally, the status of Capidium hessei Koch stat. res. is restored. Habitus photographs, diagnostic features, and distributional maps are provided for current and future workers to direct research and collecting efforts for all 94 species and 19 genera representing Eurynotina.
