A case study in Brazil, with its diverse terrain and climate, examines the influence of terrain sampling resolution, probability parameters, environmental factors, and antenna polarization. Results indicate that terrain resolution and environmental parameters significantly affect path loss, while others have negligible impact. These findings provide recommendations for optimizing ITM usage in large, varied countries, reducing computational complexity by focusing on the most relevant parameters. This analysis aids in more accurate and efficient wireless network planning.
