THE CONTENT OF THE CONDUCTOR'S GESTURAL LANGUAGE
Authors/Creators
Description
This article is a study of the unique nature of the sign language of conducting, considering it not only as a tool for conveying necessary conventional signs, but also as a means of transmission of the content of the musical image and its emotional subtext. The article examines conducting technique as a specialized instrument for influencing the consciousness of performing musicians and notes that although individual elements of this technique (tempo, dynamics) are relatively easy to learn, mastery of the technique as a whole requires unique abilities and individual expressiveness.
