TSniffer
Description
TSniffer is a softwaretool to analyze RNA editing in RNA-sequencing datasets. TSniffer uses Fisher's exact tests in combination with a rolling window approach to detect transcriptome regions with elevated transition rates (TsRegions). Two modes of operation are available: TSniffer_deNovo for de novo identification and quantification of TsRegions in single samples, and and TSniffer_regio for comparison among multiple datasets by quantification of transition rates in predefined regions. TSniffer_deNovo requires the a sample alignment bam file and the corresponding reference fasta is input; for TSniffer_regio, an gff output file containing the regions of interest (generated by TSniffer_deNovo) is required additionally.
