CryoSat-2 and SWIM (CFOSAT) significant wave height and wave period

Description

The repository contains two datasets. The first one includes altimeter data on significant wave height, wave period, and wave power density for four areas along the European coast of the Atlantic Ocean: PT (Portugal), FF (French Façade), UK (British Isles), and BN (Baltic and Atlantic waters near Norway). This dataset was obtained within the framework of the WAPOSAL project (https://eo4society.esa.int/projects/waposal/).

The second dataset contains data from the SWIM radar onboard CFOSAT satellite on significant wave height and wave period. The method for data processing is outlined in Jiang et al. (2022).
