RusWeather-GF: Gap-Filled Daily Weather Dataset for Russia (1980-2023)

RusWeather-GF: A quality-controlled daily meteorological dataset for Russia spanning 1980-2023. Contains temperature (°C) and precipitation (mm) observations from 593 weather stations integrated with FABDEM v1.2 elevation data.

Dataset characteristics:
- Total records: 8,893,613
- Spatial coverage: 19°-180°E, 41°-82°N
- Original missing data: 1.6% (temperature), 1.8% (precipitation)
- Gap-filling: 100% complete using IDW (≤7 days), Random Forest (8-30 days), and climatology (>30 days)
- Validation: temporal consistency Δ < 0.01, spatial consistency r > 0.999
