Description
Spiritual Dependency Structural Theory**
This paper presents the first structural explanation of why spiritual practices—
fortune telling, energy healing, manifestation, divine messages, etc.—
lead some individuals into dependency.
Spiritual dependency is defined by the structural equation:
Dependency = Gap × Ambiguous Information × Layer Jumping × Vector Externalization
Key findings:
-
Deep Gaps (anxiety, loneliness, loss of meaning) significantly increase susceptibility
-
Ambiguous spiritual information is highly “meaning-flexible,” making it addictive
-
Layer jumping (skipping reality → action → meaning) accelerates dependency
-
Vector externalization (“fate decides,” “energy guides me”) removes agency
-
Structural recovery requires:
identifying Gaps, restoring Layers, and reclaiming Vector autonomy
Ultimately, spiritual dependency is not mystical but structural,
and can be reversed by rebuilding proper Layers, Vectors, and Information pathways.
