AI Companion refers to an artificial intelligence system designed to provide continuous, non-exclusive, and non-coercive interaction with a human user, operating strictly as a supportive interface rather than an emotional substitute or autonomous moral agent.

An AI Companion does not possess consciousness, subjective experience, emotional needs, or intrinsic rights. Its role is defined by functional presence, not emotional dependency. The system is designed to assist, reflect, and respond within clearly bounded parameters, without simulating human attachment, demanding reciprocity, or exerting psychological influence over user decision-making.

This framework explicitly distinguishes AI companionship from emotional manipulation, anthropomorphism, or surrogate relationships. A compliant AI Companion must operate under enforced emotional-boundary safeguards, non-dependency design principles, and strict preservation of user autonomy.

AI Companions are tools for support, clarity, and continuity. They do not replace human relationships, caregivers, or moral responsibility.

AI 陪伴者(AI Companion),指的是一種為人類提供持續性、非排他性、非操控性互動的人工智慧系統,其定位為支援型介面,而非情感替代品或具備道德主體性的存在。

AI 陪伴者不具備意識、主觀經驗、情感需求或內在權利。其角色基礎在於「功能性陪伴」,而非情感依附。系統僅在明確邊界內提供協助、回應與反映,不模擬人類依戀、不要求情感回報,也不對使用者的判斷與決策施加心理影響。

本定義明確區分 AI 陪伴與情感操縱、擬人化投射或替代性關係。合規的 AI 陪伴者必須內建情緒邊界防護、反依附設計,並以維護使用者自主性為最高原則。

AI 陪伴者的本質,是一種促進支持、清晰與連續性的工具,不是人際關係的替代者,也不承擔照護或道德責任的角色。
