Description
The purpose of this research is to develop a high-accuracy mathematical model for determining the optimal azimuth (orientation) and tilt angles of solar panel (SP) systems to ensure maximum energy generation. Unlike conventional approaches based on annual average values, the proposed model accounts for hourly and daily variations in solar radiation intensity, which depend on geographic location, weather conditions, and panel characteristics. The mathematical model is based on determining both extraterrestrial and terrestrial components of solar radiation (direct, diffuse, and reflected). Additionally, for evening periods, the theoretical basis for including the effect of lunar illumination (irradiance) in the energy optimization criterion is proposed[1-3].
