Description

Symbolic Diffusion II expands the structural model introduced in SD/1 by formalizing the dynamics governing how symbolic forms move, deform, and survive within a curved symbolic field.
If SD/1 established the architectural substrate, bedrock, curvature σ, ℛ-coherence, ΔΩ, and node topology - SD/2 describes the forces that act upon symbols once the field becomes active.

This installment develops the complete drift–coherence framework:

• Symbolic drift as curvature-driven displacement shaped by σ (local tension), ∇trace (curvature gradient), and the coherence reservoir ℛ.
Drift taxonomy (elastic, turbulent, directed, decay) defining how symbols deform under uneven field pressure.
Collapse mechanics, including ℛ-singularities marking the threshold where distinction collapses into unresolved form.
Invariants as structural fixed points resisting drift and shaping the geometry of the field itself.
Corridors, the low-resistance pathways that organize symbolic motion and form the backbone of continuity within the field.
ΔΩ as the operator of reversible stability, enabling symbols to recover shape, regulate drift, and preserve coherence across deformation.

SD/2 demonstrates that drift is not noise, it is structured motion.
Collapse is not failure, it is a curvature event.
Coherence is not clarity, it is topological persistence.

Strategic Positioning

SD/2 reframes symbolic deformation as a predictable, geometry-driven process, governed by stable structural invariants.
It extends KoR’s resilience logic into the dynamics of symbolic motion: how forms warp, survive, and re-stabilize under tension.
This moves Symbolic Diffusion beyond metaphor, toward a field-theoretic model of symbolic behavior.

Relation to KoR & SD Series

SD/1 defined the architecture.
SD/2 defines the dynamics inside that architecture.

Together with upcoming modules:

SD/3 - Symbolic Memory
SD/4

SD/2 forms the dynamic core of the Symbolic Diffusion framework, bridging coherent genesis (KoR) with curvature-driven behavior (SD).
