Description
The aim of this research study was to formulate and assess a floral scent comprised of jasmine and mint essential oils, with the intention of establishing a light, refreshing, and well-balanced floral aroma. Ethanol was utilized as the primary solvent to facilitate mixing and controlled volatility, and glycerin was incorporated as an efficient fixative to promote fragrance persistence and stability. The proportions of top, middle (heart), and base notes was carefully optimized to achieve a well-blended floral-herbal fragrance [01]. The fragrance was assessed against important characteristics of pH measurement, odor stability during storage, and skin irritation testing to confirm safety and quality assurance. The fragrance demonstrated excellent stability, a pleasant aroma, and no skin irritation indicating a high potential for future use in various applications including perfumes, body sprays, creams and other cosmetic or personal care products [13].
