Mayorista Pet Shop, a Colombian company dedicated to the manufacture and sale of pet products, is developing an export plan to expand its value proposition in markets across the Americas and Europe. The project focuses on the internationalization of its handcrafted pet carrier, a product that integrates functionality, sustainability, and job inclusion by involving female heads of household in its production. The methodology includes internal and external assessments, international consumer analysis, benchmarking, and the design of the marketing mix and export model. The results demonstrate competitive advantages in quality and social purpose, although challenges remain in logistics, digitalization, and documentation. The plan proposes strategies for entering markets such as Peru and Germany, where the demand for responsible products is growing.
