The Wrong Ones (Неправильные)

«The Wrong Ones» — a philosophical novella exploring the deepest tensions of modern life.
At one point, the protagonist Erica finally realizes that the question cannot be resolved on the level of comparing two “truths.” The truths of different nations — just like the truths of different people, groups, and communities — always move selfishly in their own directions, and only diplomatic tricks keep them from erupting into wars.
The novella examines, on a high philosophical level, a wide range of contemporary issues. Among them, the author devotes significant attention to the Christian understanding of military conflicts in the post-Soviet space — particularly the Russian–Ukrainian conflict.
The author also reflects on the future of Russian society and even proposes a possible alternative path.

 «Наконец, Эрика поняла, что вопрос на уровне сопоставления двух правд неразрешим. Правды разных народов, как и разных людей, их групп и группировок, всегда эгоистично двигались всяк в свою сторону и лишь дипломатические хитрости временно удерживали их от войн».
В повести исследуются на высоком философском уровне самые разные аспекты современной жизни. Среди вопросов, которые автор не мог обойти — немалое место уделено христианскому осмыслению военных конфликтов на территории постсоветского пространства. В частности — российско-украинского конфликта.
Раздумывает автор и над тем, каким путем идти дальше российскому обществу. И даже предлагает - свою альтернативу.
