En este artículo examinamos el tiempo como una noción compleja, proponiendo la categoría de “matriz temporal de interpretaciones” (MTI) como marco teórico para analizar de qué manera influyen las diferentes dimensiones del tiempo en la construcción de narrativas históricas y en la formación de identidades colectivas. A través de un enfoque interdisciplinario, exploramos las interconexiones entre el pasado, el presente y el futuro, y cómo estas temporalidades pueden ser manipuladas políticamente para legitimar discursos y proyectar futuros posibles. Analizamos también la importancia de la iteración del tiempo dentro de esta matriz, subrayando que el pasado no es simplemente una dimensión estática, sino que es un recurso activamente reinterpretado para cumplir funciones específicas en contextos históricos y políticos contemporáneos. Con esta investigación esperamos contribuir a una comprensión ampliada del tiempo en su rol dentro de la dinámica histórica y su impacto en la escritura de la historia y la acción social.
Abstract (English)
In this article, we examine time as a complex notion, proposing the category of a “temporal matrix of interpretations” (TMI) as a theoretical framework to analyze how different dimensions of time influence the construction of historical narratives and the formation of collective identities. Through an interdisciplinary approach, we explore the interconnections between the past, present, and future, and how these temporalities can be politically manipulated to legitimize discourses and project possible futures. We also analyze the importance of the iteration of time within this matrix, emphasizing that the past is not simply a static dimension but is actively reinterpreted to fulfill specific functions in contemporary historical and political contexts. With this research, we aim to contribute to an expanded understanding of time in its role within historical dynamics and its impact on the writing of history and social action
