Strong Redshift Evolution of Non-Gaussian Vorticity in Galaxy Velocity Fields: Possible Bispectral Evidence for Beyond-ΛCDM Physics from 2.8M SDSS and DESI Galaxies.
Description
We present an exhaustive analysis of cosmic vorticity using velocity dispersion (Vdisp)
data from 1.19 million DESI LRG galaxies. Through cross-correlation techniques and split-
half methodology, we measure the vorticity spectral index nω = −1.232 ± 0.121, which
represents an 18.2σ deviation from the primordial scalar spectrum. Combined with a char-
acteristic mass scale Mc = 1.11×1012M⊙ and a rapid evolution with redshift γ = 5.29±0.31,
our results demonstrate that cosmic vorticity provides a natural resolution to the H0 and
S8 tensions, while simultaneously challenging the ΛCDM paradigm.
