Southern Lebanon: Resilience, Collective Memory, and the Consequences of Repeated Israeli Aggression
Description
Southern Lebanon has endured more sustained military violence than any other region of Lebanon. This article provides an academically supported and fully cited analysis of Israeli military actions in southern Lebanon, their humanitarian and political impact, and the resilience of local communities. Drawing on UN reports, human rights documentation, and scholarly literature, it argues that the South’s defensive posture emerges from historical necessity rather than ideology.
