Description
The Bailiffs’ Records (Finnish Voudintilit; Swedish Fogderäkenskaper) constitute a substantial corpus of early modern accounts produced by the Swedish state administration between approximately 1540 and 1630. This publication provides a catalogue of the accounts pertaining to the province of Uusimaa (Nyland) in southern Finland. These records are preserved in the Finnish National Archives. Further details are set out in the catalogue introduction. The catalogue was first issued in Doria in January 2023 (https://urn.fi/URN:ISBN:978-952-94-6322-0).
