Sustaining Open Infrastructures in Changing Times
Authors/Creators
Description
These slides are from a panel presentation at ASIS&T 2025. The abstract for the panel paper is copied below: Open infrastructures are facing uncertain times, as they navigate tensions rooted in changes around artificial intelligence, openness, and dominant political ideologies. How are “open infrastructures” working to ensure their sustainability - and that of their content - in times of significant and multiple change? This panel brings together researchers, practitioners, and experts in open infrastructure to discuss and compare tensions involved in sustaining open infrastructure and to develop a framework to guide future research and areas for intervention.
