KNUTEM/debye-callaway-simulator: First public open-source release
Authors/Creators
Description
A Python-based interactive simulator for lattice thermal conductivity modeling using the Debye–Callaway framework.
This version (v1.0.0) is retained for archival and reproducibility purposes. Users are strongly encouraged to use the latest release, v2.1.0, which provides substantial improvements in performance, responsiveness, stability, and usability.
The original v1.0.0 release employed a Matplotlib-based graphical interface that, under demanding computational and graphical workloads, could exhibit noticeable lag and reduced responsiveness. These limitations motivated extensive optimization and redesign efforts in subsequent releases.
Version 2.1.0 addresses many of these performance bottlenecks and includes numerous enhancements to the graphical interface, parameter-selection workflow, fitting controls, and overall user experience.
For new users, we recommend downloading and citing the most recent release unless reproducibility of results obtained specifically with v1.0.0 is required.
Thank you for your interest in the Debye–Callaway Simulator and for supporting its continued development.
