Next-Generation Performance KPI Systems: Integrating Predictive Analytics and OKRs

This paper introduces a novel framework for integrating predictive analytics and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) into traditional Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dashboards. Moving beyond backward-looking metrics, the proposed system enables organizations to anticipate performance gaps and align day-to-day KPIs with strategic outcomes in real time. Using a closed-loop feedback model and hypothetical case studies from healthcare and retail domains, we demonstrate how machine learning–driven forecasts can be embedded into KPI systems to drive agility, reduce decision latency, and improve operational precision. This approach aims to bridge the current research gap between siloed business intelligence and dynamic, data-informed strategy execution.
