Climate Neutral Building Design Atelier for Architecture Students

Description

The INCEPT Project foresees as an intellectual output to create Climate Neutral Building Design Atelier for architecture students to test energy efficient design concepts, practical ideas and tools as part of their training in a "living lab" ecosystem. Climate Neutral Building Design Atelier contributes to alignment of architectural education with the paramount energy and climate goals of the green transition in Europe. A new approach to education focuses on carbon neutrality, circularity, and sustainability, aligning with the UN’s sustainable development goals. This approach is also embedded within the New European Bauhaus platform, which combines sustainability, inclusion, and aesthetics. The implementation of Climate Neutral Building Design Atelier concept aims to train architecture students on how to design more energy-efficient, less carbon-intensive and more sustainable buildings in the wider multi-faceted urban context allowing room for creativity and aesthetic decisions.
