Divergent Minds in the Archive - Barriers and Good Practice Infographics
Authors/Creators
Description
The ‘Barriers’ and ‘Good Practice’ infographics are a resource to improve the accessibility of archives and collections for neurodivergent users. The 'Barriers' infographic highlights barriers encountered by neurodivergent archive users (including neurodivergent professionals). The 'Good Practice' infographic presents measures archives and collections professionals can adopt to make archives more accessible.
The infographics were produced as part of the ‘Divergent Minds in the Archive: Creative Engagements with the Archive as Research Workspace’ project, led by Ria Cheyne with co-investigators Ann-Marie Foster and Lucinda Matthews-Jones. They were created by Laura Brodrick of Think Big Picture.
This work was supported by the UKRI and the British Academy Funding through the Equality Diversity and Inclusion Caucus (ES/X008444/1). These infographics are made freely available under a CC-BY-NC-SA 4.0 license.
